Our daughter and I played this game. The main idea is that you have $2,000 to set up your first apartment. The first person to do that and be debt free is the winner.
We decided at the end of the game, we would change a few things to make the game easier to play. The "Events" cards are kind of boring. We thought about making our own: "You won the work lottery. You now have $200 extra!" "You received a $100 bonus at work!" etc. For bargain hunters, we could add "You found a kitchenette for $200." etc. In other words, modernize the game.
